Description

Creature Description:
In an eerie forgotten city, frozen in time, the Ripper spends every night bringing the buildings and streets to rumble, an then disappears without out a trace by dawn. Only to have all damage inexplicably repaired by the following day's end. Once dusk falls the Ripper appears again, destroying, without rest, without a sound.

The Dream Ripper possess amazing physical strength and agility, able to leap incredible heights and moves at unimaginable speeds given it's immense size. It wields tremdous amounts of destrutive energy with ease, and is even said to have the ability to erase matter itself. Despite it's arms and tail appearing detached, they don't float freely. Some believe this is because the creature is actually threaded through the very fabric of space.

About the Work:
This project ended up taking way longer then I thought it would, over a year actually. I know it looks like crap given the amount of time put in. Of course, that wasn't straight time. I occasionally spent weeks, and even months, not able to make any progress. Equal parts frustrating and exhausting. Especially since I had to "paint" this super zoomed all the time, literally pixel by pixel. I had no choice though, one of the shortcomings of drawing with a mouse is that you're not actually drawing, lol. Joking aside, It was pretty draining, and kind of a miserable experience. Not how I like to see the artistic process...
In any event, glad to finally be done. I do have to apologize for the wonky foreshortening, and perhaps some odd coloring choices. Like I said, some parts were worked on months apart, so I kind of messed up the consistency.

2017 Edit:
I'm happy to announce that I finally have a Surface Pro Tablet, so I won't be doing anymore digital pieces by mouse. Woo!
